Exclusive Sponsorship

There are two reasons why individual persons or companies might wish to sponsor an Amedeo Award for a medical textbook:

  1. They feel dedicated to the subject because of their personal history or there professional commitment.

  2. They want their name to be associated with a medical textbook on a specific subject on a global scale.
Up-to-date medical textbooks produced for the Amedeo Award are prestigious publications that will be publicised on all Flying Publisher websites, reaching hundreds of thousands of physicians and lay people around the world and contributing to improvements in medical practise.

Medical textbooks have 500+ pages. To motivate the best physicians in the world to participate in the Amedeo Awards, the awards amount to at least 12,500 Euro.

Some topics are already being covered by regularly updated textbooks (HIV, Influenza, Tuberculosis) while for other topics, textbook awards have already been created (Hepatitis, Antibotic Therapy) or discussions are under way with potential sponsors (Infectious Diseases, Emerging Infectious Diseases, Immunology).
